Old and new cabin design

The new design has better visibility thanks to the large windscreen. Visibility is crucial for the operator to handle the slag pots safely. Overall comfort, ergonomics and layout of controls are other main improvements of the new cabin.

We made several models during the project, from simple cardboard layouts in order to test space and reach, to more advanced prototyping methods later in the project.
