Nya Kompisbyrån is a non-profit organization working for integration. They are matching friends to help new swedes practice Swedish over a fika or activity. I have been engaged as a volunteer since 2015 with various stuff, in 2020 I helped out with UX and service design.
Nya Kompisbyrån was formed in 2020 when the two organisations Invitationsdepartementet & Kompisbyrån joined forces. As a result of the merge, new ways of working needed to be settled. I facilitated the process of how the new service would work; from joining several user journeys to setting administrational frameworks and designing for the web.

Felicia is the perfect volunteer - humble, attentive and results-oriented. These qualities, combined with her intelligence and ease of laughter, have followed her involvement over the years; from the start-up of a local association in Luleå to calling participants with evaluation questions to running digital development projects with the office in Stockholm. Felicia always asks the questions - how can we make this better? and how can I best contribute? She combines the will to and the power to do good with an integrity around the association's purpose and the importance of spending one's time well. She is a volunteer who always looks out for the participant's best interests, who is completely grounded in our shared vision for an inclusive Sweden and who, without exception, gets things done.
