Svensk Fastighetsförmedling is one of the largest real estate agencies in Sweden. They have a franchise model with more than 1200 employees and offices from north to south of Sweden as well as in Spain. I worked as a UX designer in a cross-functional team responsible for the development and maintenance of their digital business. This included website and CRM as well as other internal systems.
The project setup was complex, integrating various systems. My ability to shift focus from technical details to a wider strategic perspective was key to designing viable solutions with regard to business needs, user experience, and technology.
My work involved research, concept development and visual design. I worked in close collaboration with several product owners and developers.
When covid hit the world we had to rapidly rethink one of the main activities for brokers; the display of homes. Instead of inviting people to houses and flats, they had to be fully displayed online.
I did lots of interviews with brokers to understand their new working conditions since covid started. That took me further to concept development, wireframing and iterations together with the rest of the team before moving on to implementation.
The final product was a tool for brokers to film and publish video viewings online. The solution was integrated with the business system, the website and Hemnet.
